So it turns out the weekend was pretty eventful despite not having any real plans. When I knew the big mister didn’t have his usual workload I really wanted to do something with the keiki, seeing as how we didn’t do much over the summer.
Friday, like I said I went shopping with Mama Toots and the babies then it was the usual dinner at my ‘rents. Grub! Prime Rib! Fresh Corn! Pinakbet, gotta love some carabasa squash and okra! Oh yeah and my brother grilled some burgers but I didn’t much care for that.
Saturday was pretty much low key as the big mister had a wedding to DJ and he was kinda stressing over it. We had lunch at Che.vy’s and then he was off to his gig. The keiki and I hung out for a bit and then hung out with our best friend family. Walked around the mall, like mall rats, and then headed off to dinner at Denn.y’s. Lil man has been asking to go to Eggettes after overhearing someone at Tarjey talk about Peek-a-Poohs there! He’s been collecting them over the summer.
This is my collection hanging from my backpack:
Lil miss was passed out the entire time we were there, so lil man and I shared a Mango Freeze. Yumm-O! Luckily for me, J was so enamored with his new additions that he only got about 3 sips in and the rest was MINE!!!
Sunday we woke up with no plans. We had a lot of ideas but only came to one conclusion, we used the free tickets to Great Am.erica that the big mister got from work. He wasn’t all too thrilled to go, but it ended up being a good time with our best friend family. Unfortunately I failed to take a photo of the funnel cake that we devoured. Heh.
The infamous carousel by day and night:

The night ended with an amazing fireworks display. Even better than the ones we saw on the 4th.
And so today, Monday, we’re doing nothing. Loafing and preparing for a short week at school. Big mister is back to work tonight. I need to figure out what’s for dinner. I actually want to cook but don’t have much to work with.
