Once in awhile I feel like I wish I had a normal delivery instead of a c-section. The hubby tells me I shouldn't feel this way but I can't help it sometimes.

especially with your 1st you can't help it! don't feel so bad! It was better for Connor and YOU in the long run!

I wanted to watch Twilight this weekend too but decided to wait 'til next week. You're right I'm sure it'll be busy.

Good for you for giving your kiddos the flu shot. Connor has to get his 2nd dose in December too.

yeah i'm hoping we can fit it in the mr's schedule! the last movie i saw in theaters was Bee Movie I think, and I even fell asleep watching it. It's a must to get the kids their flu shot, in my case b/c J is in school and exposed to everyone else's germs. and i can't be dealing with sick kids. I need to heed my own advice tho and get MYSELF a shot!

Add me to the club. Could not get Sabrina to latch on - turns out her tongue was too short (and thick). By the time she "grew" into her tongue, she had gotten used to the bottle.

glad she at least grew into it! And look at them they're perfectly fine! I hate those comparisons that say breastfed babies are more prone to this and less to this and formula fed babies are this and that. UGH! annoying!

I think that's the part that sucks - "they" emphasize so much how important it is to breast feed, and when Mommies can't (not that they don't want to, but CAN'T) they feel like a failure. As if all the "good nutrients" are only from breast milk and if you don't give your baby THAT, you're not being the best Mom.

I too felt that way with A - especially when he was going through all his digestive problems. I thought it was MY fault because I could not for the life of me produce freakin' milk!!!

So, I think LC's need to say tell Mommies to just try and STOP grabbing our chi-chi's like it doesn't freakin' hurt!

lol, i remember you saying how they grabbed your goodies and just kept shoving it in his face!!! it's so freakin stressful the first time around and you have such high expectations of yourself even!

Hey, I'll take some of your hand-me-downs! :-) Bambina is wearing 3 mos stuff now (holy crap), and we need warm stuff for those cold SF days/nites.

Ooh I'll see what I can gather together. Note that 3 month clothes were worn in Hawaii though, so there might not be much in the way of warm clothes. Heh. That's what I've had to buy as of late. But most def I'll keep her in mind!

Or maybe J can show the "other" side of the missions - captivating a brief history about the NA maybe...too much?

Unfortunately going out of the "box" is not allowed. There is specifics to what he has to do. He is learning about the NAs tho and while we were walking around the grounds he was telling us all the things he knew and learned so far through his research. It was kinda neat. Lol.

my nephew got San Juan Bautista :)
how lucky J got Santa Clara, pretty close to home!

San Juan Bautista isn't far either, J had a recent field trip there. But I was stoked to get Santa Clara. heh. So glad we didn't get anything in LA or San Diego

ohmygulay nine months already!! time goes by too fast lol

but owwie those shots! I'm too much of wuss that I make Chris take the boys for those kinds of appts lol

hell yeah it's going by too fast! She's already with the teeth and cruising the furniture. she's making this last baby bit harder on me b/c she's growing so fast. I feel so bad when the wee ones get shots, my only solace is that I can comfort her like no one else can, and she actually wants me, heh
